Wright Brothers

The Wright Brothers made a big difference in our lives. They were the famous brothers that made the first airplane, or the so famous ''glider'', and it wasn't the airplane only that they created, they also invented the bicycle. The airplane today was perfected now, it is made of metal, it uses fuel, and it can fly not for seconds only, it can keep flying for more than one day. The bicycle was perfected too, before it was made of wood and it did not last very long, now today bikes can last up to 4 years if u take normal care of it and try not to destroy it. The yeasr of 1903 was a bright year because today now it is one of the things that affect out lives the most.

The Chunnel Tunnel

The Chunnel goes all the way between London in England, Brussels in Belgium, and Paris in France. The Chunnel goes all the way across the Strait of Dover from one side to another. The Chunnel is the biggest tunnel in the whole world. The Chunnel was a big engineering problem when it came to be built underwater, they could not dig, so they had to do the was that most big tunnels are built like, they had to make the parts of the tunnel on ground, then bring it to the sea, and then sink it in the right direction.

You have to make sure that the speech is interesting, not big (if the speech is big, try to be interesting and try to make it interesting or make it fun)

Gibraltar Bridge

The Gibraltar bridge is supposed to connect Europe and Africa together. The cables thaat the engineers are pretending to use are so long that they could go around the Earth 2 and 1/3 times. The bridge bridge will span 3 and a half miles though the Maditerranean sea. The bridge has 3 of 4 different types of bridges all in only 1 bridge. It has a Cable bridge--Arch bridge--Beam bridge. Freedom Ship

The freedom ship is called the "Floating City" and you can already guess why. Yea.... the ship is so big that can be used as a city and in the future maybe people will be able to live in it. The ship has schools, mals, aiport, hospitals, etc. . It has everything that a normal city would have. The ship will be used as homes because someday in the future scientists think that there will be nowhere to put humans so they thought to build ships that are so big tha a clolony can live in it. Scientists have also bee talking about making buildings three times bigger than a normal one in the sea so that too colonies can live in it. But I'll talk about that later.

The Terrafugia Transition

The Terrafugia Transition is a road able Light Sport Aircraft designed by a team of award-winning MIT-trained engineers for today’s demanding general aviation pilot.
Bring more flexibility and convenience to your flying. Keep your Transition® in your garage. Drive to your local airport, fly up to 400NM, land, convert, and drive directly to your destination. You’ll always be ready to drive or fly.
Converting from road to flight mode requires a few simple commands in the cockpit and a normal pre-flight. Transform back to a street legal vehicle without having to leave your seat.
Never let questionable weather cancel or endanger your trip again. Simply divert and continue on the ground until the weather clears.
Designed to automotive crash safety standards, with an option for a full-vehicle parachute, Terrafugia’s commitment to safety is apparent in the Transition’s form as well as function.

The flying car was designed to be use as a car and as a aircraft as well. Engineers made it to ,make life easier and to make money as well. The car closes it wings when turned into a car and it spreads its wings when it's about to fly.

Space Elevator

A Space Elevator is designed to transport material from one celestial body's surface to space. Scientists developed this elevator so they did not have need to use rocket powered space launcher. The elevator could go from the surface of the Earth to a counterweight that is placed in space.

Smart Armour

Today there's a new protection for athletes safety. It's called smart amour. They were specially developed to harden when an athlete such as skiers and bikers etc. Smart armour is like a new kind or amour for athletes, the armours are soft at first and when it comes to an impact it hardens. That is because the resulting material exhibits a material property called "strain rate sensitivity". Under normal conditions the molecules within the material are weakly bound and can move past each with ease, making the material flexible. But the shock of sudden deformation causes the chemical bonds to strengthen and the moving molecules to lock, turning the material into a more solid, protective shield.

Inernet Safety

One of the main facts about Internet safety is that you need to be safe when using the Internet. When using the net you need to make sure that you don't go to websites that you're not supposed to be going on. Another main Internet safety is to never give out your personal information like:passwords, account names, your age and things like that to a website that you don't trust. The last thing that I want to talk about is that you don't have to tolerate cyberbullies. One of the things that you can do about that are:
  • Ignore the bully by closing chat window
  • Don't answer back
  • If the bully is threatening you of hurting or threatening about doing something worse you can tell the police.
